Holly Conlee, LMHC, NCC 

Licensed Mental Health Counselor



Holly earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. After working in the field of corrections and recognizing a high need for providers in the mental health community, she returned to college and received a Master of Science in Education Degree in Community Counseling from Western Illinois University. She has worked in hospital and private practice settings as a therapist since 2009.


Holly is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She offers individual and marriage/domestic partnership counseling and her areas of clinical focus include: anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, college stress, phase of life concerns, parenting and co-parenting, separation/divorce, blended family concerns, anger management, serious acute/chronic illness, ADHD, grief/loss, and trauma/PTSD. She is welcoming of the LGBTQ+ community. She also enjoys working with corrections employees, law enforcement, firefighters, EMT/paramedics, dispatchers, and medical professionals in Emergency Department settings to address concerns of cumulative stress and trauma related to these professions.


Holly became a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner in 2022. She has also found Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to be quite useful in navigating challenges in the day-to-day lives of her clients. She has a down-to-earth approach with clients and believes strongly in the therapeutic relationship for building trust and an alliance for the best possible outcome with identified goals.
